About Innovamat
Innovamat is transforming Kâ8 math education across the U.S. and beyond â and weâre just getting started. Weâre a leading global EdTech startup, with 300+ teammates across 10 countries, scaling fast and building from the ground up in the U.S. Our research-backed curriculum, intervention programs, and adaptive technology are already trusted by 27,000+ teachers in 2,600+ schools worldwide, and our momentum is accelerating.
Backed by world-class thinkers like Peter Liljedahl (Building Thinking Classrooms), Innovamat sits at the intersection of learning science, product, and execution. We move quickly, test boldly, and care deeply about impact. If you like environments where ideas turn into action â and action turns into results â youâll feel at home here.
We believe math should be joyful, meaningful, and transformational â not rote memorization or worksheets. We partner closely with districts and teachers to reimagine what math classrooms can be.
This is a true builder role for someone who wants to be hands-on across strategy, territory expansion, partnerships, and go-to-market execution. Youâll help shape how Innovamat grows in Texas: identifying where we win, building district relationships from the ground up, creating local market presence through conferences and events, and influencing our GTM motion in one of the most strategic education markets in the U.S.
This is for someone who wants exposure to everything â commercial strategy, partnerships, field marketing, district leadership conversations, pilot launches, and revenue growth. You wonât be stepping into a polished machine; youâll be helping build it.
The Role
Weâre looking for a Growth Manager to fuel Innovamatâs expansion across Texas.
This is a high-ownership, highly hands-on role for someone who wants to build a market, not inherit one. Youâll work at the center of strategy and execution â helping us define how we grow and how we create long-term district partnerships across one of the most important education markets in the U.S.
This role is for people who:
Want to build a territory, not just manage one.
Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy creating structure where none exists.
Love being in the field â meeting district leaders, attending conferences, and building real relationships.
Think strategically about market growth, not just short-term sales.
Want exposure across partnerships, operations, strategy, and GTM execution.
Are competitive, resilient, and energized by ownership.
Youâll own relationships with district leaders, lead consultative first meetings, represent Innovamat across the state, and partner closely with senior leaders and math experts to drive sustainable growth.
What Youâll Do
Build the Territory: Identify high-potential districts, map opportunity areas, and help define our go-to-market strategy across Texas. Youâll play a key role in shaping where and how we grow.
Prospect with Purpose: Generate new district relationships through strategic networking, referrals, and strong local presence.
Lead High-Value Conversations: Run consultative meetings with district leaders to uncover needs, challenge current thinking, and position a transformational approach to math education.
Expand Market Presence: Represent Innovamat at conferences, host local events, and create visibility that strengthens our reputation and pipeline across the region.
Partner to Drive Growth: Work closely with Math Success Managers and leadership to launch pilots, support conversions, expand partnerships, and build long-term district success.
Own Your Outcomes: Build and execute your own strategic plan to exceed revenue goals while creating sustainable momentum in your territory.
What You Bring
A proven track record of high performance in fast-paced, demanding environments with strong client-facing exposure (e.g. consulting, investment banking, private equity, engineering, operations, education, customer success, or early-stage startups).
Experience building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and navigating high-stakes conversations with confidence and credibility.
Strong strategic thinking â you can see both the immediate opportunity and the bigger market picture.
Competitive drive: you are resilient, resourceful, and energized by ambitious goals.
Relationship-builder instinct and genuine curiosity about people.
Entrepreneurial energy: you thrive in environments with travel, growth, and big goals.
Curiosity about education and willingness to learn pedagogy while building partnerships.
Comfort with ambiguity and a true blank-page mindset.
Willingness to travel approximately 50%.
Why Join Innovamat
Impact: Transform how thousands of students learn math. Be part of our early-stage U.S. expansion team that is on track to become the industry leader.
Growth: No ceiling â your career scales with your results, ownership, and ambition.
Builder Energy: You wonât just execute a playbook â youâll help write it.
Team: Join passionate, mission-driven colleagues who care deeply about excellence and educational transformation.
Compensation: Competitive package ($120K+ OTE) + 5% 401(k) match.
Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; company-provided laptop and phone; all travel expenses covered; generous PTO (22+ days) plus an additional company-wide holiday shutdown week during Christmas.
Ready to build and thrive? Apply now and help redefine math education in Texas â and across the U.S.
