About Innovamat
Innovamat is transforming how math is taught in PreKâ8 classrooms. Weâre the global leader in evidence-based, high-impact math instruction, replacing textbooks with hands-on, dynamic, research-backed learning experiences.
After launching in the U.S. just two years ago, weâve already partnered with over 60 public school districts - including Chicago Public Schools - with a 100% pilot-to-adoption conversion rate and 0% churn. We've proven product-market fit. Now weâre scaling impact: from 40,000 students today to over 200,000 next year, and far beyond after that.
Weâre backed by strong fundamentals, a team of 320+ educators and builders across 9 countries, and a clear mission: make high-quality math instruction accessible to every student. In the US, we are a hybrid team of 25 people with members in Los Angeles, New York, California, Chicago, and other locations. You will work closely with the US CEO and leadership team to orchestrate growth, build systems, and ensure operational excellence as we scale.
About the Role
As the Chief of Staff of the US CEO, you will serve as the CEOâs âright handâ, helping him to scale a disruptive math education organization across the US. This is not a support role. Itâs not about calendar management or note-taking.
Your mission: accelerate how we grow from startup to scaled venture, by deeply embedding in the business, learning what works, and helping us operationalize it across the country. The role is very dynamic - no day will be the same as you will have a front-row seat of entrepreneurship in its most exciting and complex form.
What Youâll Do
Scale Execution
Drive cross-functional initiatives to support our growth from 40k â 200k+ students.
Own end-to-end execution: build plans, launch pilots, analyze performance, iterate, scale.
Learn the business inside-out by getting hands-on experience across teams
Build Systems for Growth
Turn what works into systems - repeatable playbooks, tools, and workflows that support scale.
Help us move from founder-led hustle to sustainable, systematized scale.
Strategic Projects
Lead high-stakes, cross-team initiatives (e.g., new market entries, process builds, org design).
Manage special projects that don't have a clear home but are critical to our growth.
Partner with Leadership
Operate as a force-multiplier to the CEO and leadership team: sense what's happening in the field, translate strategy into action, and push toward impact.
Ensure that what's most important gets done, without needing permission or hand-holding.
Stakeholder & Internal Alignment
Coordinate across teams to maintain execution momentum and cross-functional clarity.
Craft clear, high-impact reporting systems for internal and external audiences (districts, investors, partners).
What Weâre Looking For
Must-Haves
2â5 years in consulting, banking, ops/strategy at a high-growth startup, or similar fast-paced environment.
Exceptional execution skills: you prioritize ruthlessly, learn quickly, and get things done.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; you turn ambiguity into clarity.
Outstanding communication - both written and verbal.
Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable building from scratch, adapting fast, and working hard.
Track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Deep curiosity about education and/or math and impact; you want to build something meaningful.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in edtech, education, or a mission-driven startup.
Exposure to senior leadership decision-making.
Comfort navigating district or public sector stakeholders.
What Youâll Get
A rare chance to scale a global edtech company in its most explosive growth stage.
Mentorship and exposure across every part of the business: sales, ops, strategy, product.
Ownership of strategic priorities and direct access to the US CEO.
Career acceleration: grow into a strategic or leadership role based on performance.
Competitive compensation + 5% 401k match.
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision.
Paid holidays, PTO, and an extra week off over Christmas.
Company laptop + mobile phone.
Regular travel for field support and team connection.
Team-building events (đ§đ✠and more).
This is a role for someone who wants to invest in themselves by building something big and important. Youâll work hard, stretch constantly, and grow faster than you thought possible.
